Martin Sisters Publishing and the Appalachian Writer's Conference is pleased to announce
the Appy Inkwell Awards 2024!
Genres: Fiction, Non-fiction, and Memoir.

We want your best work, and we want it now!
Maybe you have a novel, biography, or memoir you’ve been working on for some time or
maybe you have an idea and you need to sit down and commit it to paper finally!
To Enter:
Please send us the first 2,500 words of your full length fiction, non-fiction or memoir and take home an Appy Inkwell Award for your writing, possibly win a publishing contract, and have your work recognized at the AWC24 conference this September where we are growing a community of writers!
First Prize: A publishing contract with Martin Sisters Publishing and free registration to the
2025 Appalachian Writers’ Conference.
Second Prize: Free Registration to the 2025 Appalachian Writers’ Conference and $50 gift certificate to the Taleless Dog Bookstore.
Third Prize: Free Registration to the to the Appalachian Writers’ Conference
and Bragging Rights, of course!
All winners will receive an engraved plaque and recognition
at the AWC24 Thursday night Awards Banquet.
